It seems another of our favorite landscape plants, the American Redbud (cercis canadensis), is under attack. Growers in Tennessee and North Carolina are reporting trees with stunted growth, chlorosis and other symptoms. No singular cause has been determined yet but you can read the below articles to see what the latest research is showing.
